Pats King of Steaks

Ask anybody East of the Mississippi, and many peopleWest of the Mississippi.
They know Pat's King of Steaks. Pat's is the first, the oldest, the biggest, the
busiest and arguably the best Cheese steak in the world today. What else would
you expect from the originator of the "Phillie Cheese steak" sandwich, on 9th
street in the heart of Philadelphia, PA. The original Pat's King of Steaks is
regularly featured across the TV dial including The Travel Channel, The Food
Network, PBS and others. "Business is booming" quips Frank Oliveri, owner and
nephew of founder Pat Oliveri. "It hasn't let up since Uncle Pat founded the
business in 1930". Indeed, 'it hasn't let up'. Pat's is open 24 hours a day, 362 days
a year. You may arrive at Pat's late on a winter night to find you have to wait in
line to place your order, despite a temperature in the single digits. There's no
dining room. You eat outside on the picnic style tables that surround the building.
Given the hundreds of thousands of Cheese steak gobblers surrounding the
building every year, and the huge amount of food that passes through the
building, one can imagine the cleaning that is necessary to maintain proper
standards. Frank Oliveri openly states that "Cleanliness is of utmost importance
at Pat's". Frank proved his commitment to cleanliness. His warehouse/food
preparation building as well as the kitchen/restaurant building are equipped with
Alkota all electric hot water high pressure washers. Frank admits that he can
afford to have "Nothing but the best" on his properties. That's why he chose
Alkota. "Brown's Equipment and Supply, the local Alkota distributor, has provided
top notch service for years" stated Frank. The responsibility of operating an
iconic eating establishment of this nature requires the 'best in class'. That's why
Frank has depended upon the best, Alkota machinery, backed by Brown's service
for more than twenty years.
Gary Scott, president of Alkota Cleaning Systems and his wife Dawn recently
stopped at Pat's to observe the installation plan for the newest Alkota machines,
along with Chris Brown of Brown's Equipment and Supply and Alkota Regional
Manager, Russ Hess. Gary had the opportunity to "talk business" with Frank
Oliveri, and of course, the group enjoyed a lunch that consisted of famous Pat's
Cheese Steak sandwiches.
